Refreshing locally-brewed beers from Cheltenham since 2005

Battledown Brewing Co have been brewing beer in Cheltenham for 15 years, but 2020 has been our most exciting year yet! Our move to Coxhorne Farm has enabled us to use spring water straight from the rolling Cotswold Hills behind the brewery, bringing a new level of freshness to the beers.

At our converted barn we operate a newly installed thirteen hectolitre brew-plant, capable of brewing amazing beers, lagers and ales. Using great, modern and classic ingredients, fresh spring water and a brilliant brew-plant we create beers that our family are really proud of.

In the brewery shop you can buy bottles, barrels, and cans of our beers. We make sure we have a variety of different beers on offer and are always happy to let you sample them.

Free Delivery

Purchase our beers online to be delivered to your door free of charge within 8 miles of the brewery.

Delivery outside our normal range is just £8 and for any orders over £50 in value delivery is free (mainland UK only)

We are back!

Like everyone in our industry, we have had a tricky few months, but thankfully we have come out the other side in better shape than ever before. If you follow us on social media you will have seen that we used the lockdown to install a brand new brew plant which is something we have been wanting to do since our move to Coxhorne Farm. The closure of pubs gave us the time to do this and the resulting changes in the beer have been fantastic so far.

We have always been known for our classic English Ales and we
